Haus der Kunst, Munich, 2014
For the new Capsule Exhibition format at Haus der Kunst, Tilo Schulz designed an architectural space with a radicaly lowered ceiling, built from black MDF. The construction is based on the original exhibition space, but turned 18° and pushed further into the room. Entering Schulz’s space you encounter several painterly interventions and a poetic audio piece, which was written by the artist especially for this situation. Moving from one speaker to the other within the space, the text accompanies the visitors’ movements.
Audio text is spoken by actors Laetitia Mazzotti, Martin G. Kunze and Christoph Linder.
